I know there is recency bias because we all feel bad for cousins because of his injuries - and I am one of those people too. I really hope he gets better and at least comes back at 80% of the kind of player he was 3 years ago.

But when I think about his behavior 3 years ago, I can’t say that I am surprised that this happened.

He was emotional, violent, and in general a mean person on the court.

I think it's because he didn't have those issues when he went to the Pelicans/Warriors; I think a lot of people here either forgot or didn't watch Boogie's antics in Sacramento, but there's a reason they were willing to trade him at the time for an unproven rookie - it was a situation where the organization and Boogie were at fault.

That being said, I agree with you; it's interesting how this sub processes a negative events based on the most recent context on said player.
